Overview

Kansas City really needed a directory for all of the black-owned businesses in one convenient place. When Chelsey (the owner and CEO) came to me about rebranding her organization, I was thrilled. As a black designer, I wanted to make sure that every time you’d see the brand assets in a window, on a t-shirt, on a bus stop, or anything else, you’d be sure that this wasn’t some cold, lifeless directory. A thriving community came together to make this branding really come to life.
